I was laughing and nodding the entire time...and then I thought, I have become the older generation, heaven help me. "you're sitting in a chair in the sky! Everyone should be yelling, this is amazing!". "this guy already feels the world owes him something that ten minutes ago, he didn't even know existed."
I'm in an improv comedy class with kids who were born the year I graduated from college and even later. They keep looking at me funny whenever I make pop culture references that date from earlier than, like, 1987. (Of course, there's one girl who also asked the teacher, "What's an easel?")
Louis CK hits the issue right on the head in hammer-on-nail-like fashion. Although I for one miss rotary phones; they were so delightfully tactile and made such a satisfying whirring noise.

Shit, maybe the younger generation is younger than me already? That's depressing.
