"Big Trucks" - Pedro the Lion
Heard this today on a two hour ride down I-95. It seemed perfect. An oddly beautiful, poignant little song.

There's this new song "They Say" by a band called Scars on Broadway, featuring two of the guys from (the awesome) System of a Down. I have been listening to it over and over again today. The whole welcoming the apocalypse thing has been kind of relevant to me lately, what with McCain urging for more cold war while closing the polling gap. It's kind of cathartic resignation.
Because I can't remember how to do links just now: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8o6Pz0dZ57I

Corvus,
The vocal had a very old school punk feel to it. Could have been Los Angeles circa 1979.
