"I do not apologize for wrecking innocent people's lives"

“I do not apologize for any aspect of the investigation,” he told reporters. It is erroneous, he added, “to say there were mistakes.”
-FBI Director Robert Mueller, talking about the supposedly concluded anthrax investigation (oh, sorry, I mean Robert S. Mueller III -- gotta get those pretentious fillips in).

I think--make that, I know--our Barbecue Media are going to let this slide away.

But America needs to know what can happen when our "leaders" decide they need a scapegoat, especially when it's part of a very ugly plan to divert attention from what they're up to re: bioweapons development. If we had such a program, I mean--as we know, it doesn't exist, because that would be breaking international law. *retch*. I'm so glad Glennzilla will be back from his holiday this week--once he gets his teeth into a story, as he did with this one, we can be certain he'll keep it alive until and unless it is resolved. Properly resolved, I mean. Which the anthrax case is far from being, F*cking Bunch of Idiots' proclamationss notwithstanding.

Also, Larisa Alexandrovna has been keeping her focus on the anthrax case, too. The UNSOLVED anthrax case, ahem.
