Nerdy Things

One of the topics that came up in the recent request thread is that readers, for reasons I have yet to understand, wanted more posts on nerdy subjects from Yours Truly. For starters, I've added my Xbox Live gamer tag to the about page, if anyone happens to play the same games.
Meanwhile I'm actually prohibited from commenting on a certain number of tech/geek things should they possibly conflict with my job at Amazon.com (basically, anything about patents, net neutrality, media/technology convergence, cloud computing, etc.), but I will try my hardest to find blogworthy topics.
Any time you want to credit me for one of your posts is just fine.

My son is the resident geek when it comes to XBox 360. He likes Halo 3 (I know this because I had to buy it for him) and plays it live. There is another one he's very fond of, too--I will find out. It would be weirdly funny to hear him yell "Mama--I just shot your friend Nicholas and he shot me back!"
