The cosmos is throwing rocks at us!
A couple of hours ago, an asteroid passed within about 17,000 miles of Earth - that's closer than the altitude our geosynchronous satellites orbit at.
And of course, early this morning, a meteor made life interesting for the residents of Chelyabinsk, Russia.
