"Won't be Home" - The Old 97s
I saw these guys Sunday night -- with Teddy (son of Richard and Linda) Thompson opening -- great, energetic show, although I find that three and a half hours on my feet in a club gets a little harder these days. It's hell being both old and immature.
I am feeling particularly annoyed about the continued Republican interference in DC's governance. We are like the last colony really -- unlike other U.S. territories, we have the full burden of federal taxes -- with no control over how our own considerable local taxes are spent and no say in the Congress. It's pretty outrageous.
I'm getting on a Southwest Airlines airplane in about twenty minutes. Hopefully will not be flying in the sunroof model.
