I Love the Smell of Demagoguery in the Evening

It smells like victory -- for us!

Wow, what a melange of jingoistic, resentment-laden crap.  Did you know John McCain was both a prisoner of war and a POW?  He was tortured back when we were opposed to torture. 

Actually, Huckabee is an excellent demagogue.  The kind of guy who'd send you off to the camps with a joke and a smile and a pat on the back. 

Giuliani is serving up the red meat to these scary old white people.  I think he is probably being effective in a highly partisan way.

We will be safe -- we will be safe -- we will be safe!  Daddy McCain who can't lift his arms above his shoulders will magically save us from scary Muslims.

Drill baby drill!  Country first! Europe bad! Terrorists!  Islamic terrorism! Surge! Victory! September 11!

Evidently the Republicans have not been near Washington in many years.

Rudy defender of small towns, religion, and families -- all things are truly possible. 

"The party that believes in workers being allowed to work."  (For as many hours and for as little pay as possible.) 

Giuliani steps on Palin's time and video.  Still a selfish prick to the end.
