Thank You, Thank You, Ah'll Be Here 'til January...

"Goodbye from the world's biggest polluter!"
Our president actually said this at the close of the G8 yesterday. And then pumped his fist in the air as other world leaders reportedly "looked on in shock":
One official who witnessed the extraordinary scene said afterwards: "Everyone was very surprised that he was making a joke about America's record on pollution."
Mr Bush also faced criticism at the summit after Silvio Berlusconi, the Italian Prime Minister, was described in the White House press pack given to journalists as one of the "most controversial leaders in the history of a country known for government corruption and vice".
Heaven help us.

My god. He is certifiable. Every time I think I've seen/heard the worst from him, he tops it. Or perhaps I should say bottoms it.

Ditto. He is such an embarrassment that you think you'd grow immune to it. But no, he is always able to take it to the next level.

I think this is the first thing he has done that can really only be interpreted as a sign that he really realizes what has happened to his legacy and just doesn't give a fuck about anything anymore. He doesn't care what he does, because he knows it doesn't matter (to him).
