Seriously? The networks want to air less than the three hours of the convention last time? Weren't television ratings for the convention off the charts in 2004? Didn't viewers migrate away from the networks (and even away from cable news!) to C-SPAN and public television because they offered more raw footage of convention and fewer babbling pundits? Is there any news product that network TV news directors can't figure out how to destroy?
