Once again, Team Obama will have to hope that the American people are tired of being treated like idiots by Republicans, the media, Lanny Davis, etc. Anyone want to take a guess on how many of the news outlets reported on the latest gaffe have even read the full quote?
Update: Rapid response! Three hours and zero public appearances lapsed between the quote-hijacking "gaffe" and a counterattack from the candidate himself. Try harder next time, please.
Wait, I'm confused. Is that supposed to mean that Obama responded quickly and the media needs to step it up on their ridiculous allegations, or that the Obama campaign didn't respond fast enough?
