The Republican slimeballs are wasting no time waiting around to see if Hillary Clinton will be the Democratic nominee or not. Roger Stone, one of the nastiest pieces of work in the GOP - and that's saying something, folks - has started up a new 527 organization. It's called "Citizens United Not Timid," which is devoted to opposing Hillary in the worst ways possible.
Perhaps you didn't catch the "joke." Here's the name again:
Citizens United Not Timid.
Get it? Hyuck hyuck hyuck.
Their graphic is after the jump.
If you give these idiots $25, they'll send you a T-Shirt with this logo, which is the entire point of the exercise. But as Melissa says,
Bring it, you wankstains. Wielding sexism against Hillary doesn't work. (Just ask Chris Matthews.) You'll demean her right into the White House.
It's important to remember why this won't work. The #1 reason is that a whole bunch of us are simply not going to take it anymore. We're tired of the insults, of the namecalling, of people who think it's acceptable to reduce our political process to a game so immature 1st graders would be embarrassed by it. And we're tired of the constant, neverending, near-universal misogyny of this culture.
When someone calls Hillary a cunt, they're calling my mother the same thing. They're saying that my wife is a cunt, and that my daughter is a cunt. So God help any joker I happen to see walking around with this T-shirt, because I will start something. And unlike little chickenshit conservative wankstains, I'm perfectly capable of backing up what I say.
Whether Hillary or Obama get the nomination, I expect it to be ugly. What the Villagers and the idiot brigades at Free Republic, LGF and Rush Limbaugh's audience don't understand is that this time we're not going to let their jeers and insults go unchallenged. It'll be fun to watch all of them scurry around like the cockroaches they are as we shine our light on them.

Wow! Does this really go over with their religious constituency?
Stephen,
Are you familiar with what an absolute and utter freak Roger Stone is?

Wow! Does this really go over with their religious constituency?
They'll just ignore it, like they always do. No one can mentally erase uncomfortable inconsistencies like an American Evangelical Christian.
If by "absolute and utter freak" you mean someone that puts out personal ads for really buff guys to have sex with his wife while he watches, then yes, I do.
Par for the course, Sir Charles.

I felt the need to share with the community. It was a fairly big story in these parts about ten years ago, but I wasn't sure if people were still aware of it.
A guy who takes shameless to the next level.
Posted by: Sir Charles | January 24, 2008 at 10:15 AM
Whoa, whoa...wait a minute.
This guy put out personal ads for a buff guy to have sex with his wife while he watched, and no-one in the media is saying anything about it, and he's allowed to put out this kind of hateful, low-class, juvenile stuff about Hillary today?
What the fuck???
If I see someone in that t-shirt, well, I may not have the brawn of Stephen and Sir C, but there will be a scene nonetheless, I assure you. No-one uses that word lightly around me and simply walks away to insult again.

Well, I also forgot to mention that he left threatening messages on the voice mail of Elliot Spitzer's 83 year old father:

The guy is brazen beyond belief.
As for the T-shirt wearers, I believe you need to step into the kick to the groin to make sure you use your body weight to deliver the full power of your fury.

Or...you can make sure you have a strong friend standing next to you. :-)
Or a little electronic help--what I wouldn't give to hear one of those low-life idiots pleading: "Don't Tase me, C*nt!"
Because, you know, that word just sets me off, kind of makes my button-finger all itchy...

What's everybody so hot and bothered about? Consider the source - a life form lower than plankton = CRILL, soon to be snuffed in their own pollution!

As your next post mentions, he worked for CREEP.
People who use glass acronyms shouldn't throw stones, or something like that.

And in keeping with my previously expressed views, this is the kind of insult that makes me want to vote for a candidate more.
Posted by: Neil the Ethical Werewolf | January 25, 2008 at 02:29 AM
You'll demean her right into the White House.
Now that's something you don't hear every day.
Posted by: Kelly Gorski | January 25, 2008 at 08:36 AM
I guess you guys only like free speech if it's something you agree with?
Posted by: ahab | January 25, 2008 at 03:52 PM
Yeah, Ahab, that's the point of the post. We don't like free speech.
Why don't you go fuck Roger Stone's wife.
Posted by: Sir Charles | January 25, 2008 at 04:12 PM
Oh come on, ahab. Quit phoning this stuff in.
I remember the good ol' days, when the trolls would make an effort.
Posted by: Stephen | January 25, 2008 at 07:46 PM
I don't care about this guy. This is the norm on both sides. People that truly care who is the best candidate will do the work to find out what they really stand for and vote accordingly. The koolaide drinkers will just fall in line like sheep to the slaughter.
Posted by: truth | January 26, 2008 at 06:44 AM
This is the norm on both sides.
See, now that's just bullshit. It has become a meme--an annoying meme--that "oh, both sides are just as bad".
No they aren't.
There are dirty tricks, and then there are Rovian, Republican dirty tricks. Paraphrasing Greg Palast, the Dems slap you in the face. The Rethugs hit you in the back of the skull with a sock full of bricks.
Posted by: litbrit | January 26, 2008 at 08:10 AM
I'd try harder, but it's not worth the effort. I mean, I think this guy is an idiot; which is what I think of most of the people who think Hillary is the devil/evil/whatever.
But all the righteous indignation and threats of violence from you guys really are quite hilarious.
Posted by: Ahab | January 26, 2008 at 09:47 AM
I'd try harder, but it's not worth the effort.
And then he makes the effort to be a better troll anyway.
Hahahahaha!
Posted by: litbrit | January 26, 2008 at 11:04 AM
No no, that's not trolling. I haven't called anyone names, or been demeaning or anything like that.
I think your reaction to this kind of shit is genuinely funny. Stone is a fucking idiot, who at best should be completely ignored and marginalized; as such I find the "OMGWTFBBQHAX" reaction to be so amusing.
Posted by: ahab | January 26, 2008 at 11:52 AM
(Oh I know I shouldn't)
Ahab,
Stone is not marginalized in the least. He is eternally welcome in high Republican circles, albeit periodically sent to his room when his overt presence is deemed too embarassing.
And let me second litbrit's reply to the ironically named "truth." Name me one comparable attack from the Democratic side against a Republican. Show me something as odious as what the likes of Stone, Rove, and Atwater have made the Republican stock in trade. I'll wait.
Posted by: Sir Charles | January 26, 2008 at 12:47 PM
I didn't say he was marginalized, I said he should be. I'm not even defending the guy; as I've already pointed out, I'm just amused by the reactions of the readers of this piece.
Posted by: Ahab | January 26, 2008 at 02:11 PM
Why not call anyone names, ahab? Aren't you for free speech?
